Mayor’s Task Force On Infrastructure Accelerating Meeting Schedule
In recent weeks, the Mayor’s Task Force On Infrastructure has held intermittent meetings or has had meetings cancelled for various reasons. Their last official meeting was held on May 17 of this year. The Task Force is now scheduling a battery of meetings in rapid succession to make up for lost time.
The next meeting of the Infrastructure Task Force will be held at 7:00 PM at City Hall on Wednesday, June 15 after commission members take a tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 6:00 PM the same evening. Wastewater will be on the agenda. For a copy of the agenda, CLICK HERE.
More notable is the fact that additional Task Force meetings are now tentatively scheduled for June 22 and June 29, although no official agenda has yet been published for either meeting. It is believed that the Task Force will be presented with a request to develop recommendations regarding other infrastructure measurement and financing options during the ensuing meetings. The Task Force had originally planned to have preliminary recommendations regarding infrastructure by August 2016. It is unclear if that time frame can be met in a timely fashion.
